3 Signs You’re Hiring a Contractor Who Communicates Well Post

Believe It, Or Not!

Believe it or not, I run into the same problem that so many of my customers tell me about. You call a contractor and nobody answers. You leave a message, and nobody calls you back. I hear it all the time — one of the biggest frustrations homeowners have is simply getting a response.

That’s why at Space Transformers, one of our core values is communication. We make it a point to be available during work hours, and if you call or message us, you’ll always get a response within 24 hours. If it’s the weekend, you’ll still get an acknowledgment that we received your message, and we’ll follow up on Monday.

Because when you’re investing in your home, the last thing you should have to worry about is whether or not your contractor is going to pick up the phone.

Now, I’d love to hear from you — what’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to working with contractors or service providers? Drop it in the comments below. No naming names, no bashing — just share the things that drive you crazy. Your feedback helps us keep raising the bar and making sure we’re delivering out-of-this-world service right here in Western Kentucky.

3 Signs You’re Hiring a Contractor Who Actually Communicates

  1. They set clear expectations upfront
From the first call, they explain how and when they’ll follow up — no guessing.

  2. They respond within a reasonable timeframe
You shouldn’t be waiting days for a reply. A good contractor gets back to you within 24 hours (at least on weekdays).

  3. They keep you in the loop during the project
Whether it’s a delay, a delivery, or just a progress update, you never feel left in the dark.

At Space Transformers, we believe communication is just as important as craftsmanship. Out-of-this-world remodeling starts with simply answering the phone. 🚀
